The Rt. Rev. Peter R. Forster a.k.a. The Bishop of Chester is a global waming sceptic. He is a trustee of the Global Warming Policy Foundation[1]

As a Bishop, Forster is entitled to sit in the upper house of the British legislature where he has made his views known in the context of policy making. He claimed to be a “scientist in a previous incarnation”, and that climate change would happen “come what may”. He disputes the scientific consensus on climate change.[2]

He is an advisor to the Campaign to Repeal the Climate Change Act ( repealtheact.org.uk )[3]

Other controversies

In November 2003 The Bishop of Chester was interviewed by Police over suggestions he made that gay people should seek medical help to reorientate their sexuality.[4]
