International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation & Political Violence
The International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation & Political Violence (ICSR) states on its website that it "has emerged to bring together academic insight, political foresight and business acumen in order to counter radicalisation." I also describes its mission is to "challenge and counter the growth of radicalisation by bringing together the world's best thinkers from academia, politics and business." [1] The group is based in London.

Introduction

- University of Pennsylvania (United States)
- Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya (Israel)

Funding
On its website the group does not state where its funding comes from. As of early December 2007 the group's website states that "ICSR is currently in the process of being registered as a charity. In the meantime, you can make charitable donations through our partner institutions." [2]
The ISCR states that for 2008 it will carry out research on three priority areas: "strategies through which to counter radicalisation and recruitment on the Internet."; "compare and evaluate programmes aimed at ‘reforming' radical prison inmates"; and "construct the most up to date ‘radicalisation cycle' based on everything known about the radicalisation process."
