Ilyse Hogue
From SourceWatch
Ilyse Hogue, according to her Netroots Nation bio, "has worked both in campaigns and communications at MoveOn and has spent the better part of a decade working on issues of climate change and energy transition. She's from Texas, calls San Francisco home, and is spending the year in DC. She thinks we can make our own myths, and that's the fun part." [1]
Ilyse was formerly the Director of Greening Corporate Finance at Rainforest Action Network (RAN) where she led RAN's campaign to reform major banks including Citigroup.
"Ilyse Hogue is the Campaign Director for MoveOn.org. Before joining MoveOn, she spent seven years as a Program Director for the Rainforest Action Network (www.ran.org), working to pressure Wall Street to institute environmental and social screens on lending and investment. A long time social change activist, she is also the co-founder of smartMeme (www.smartMeme.com), a national strategy project that links story telling and social change." [1]
