Edith McBean

Edith McBean "has been a supporter of Rare since 2002 and is especially engaged in Rare’s work in Africa. She has served on the Wildlife Conservation Society Board for 20 years, and is currently Vice Chairman of that Board. Edith has helped catalyze Rare's partnership with WCS and looks forward to this partnership expanding. She also serves on the Board of Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, which supports conservation work in Kenya, and sits on the Natural Resources Defense Council Action Board. A native of San Francisco, she now lives in New York City." [1]
