The Climate Sceptics Party describes itself as being "is made up of ordinary but proud Australians who are gravely concerned with the unfounded environmental alarmism infiltrating all forms of Australian government (federal, state and local), threatening our way of life and hard-fought freedoms."[1]

In 2009 the "party" was a co-sponsor of the Heartland Institute's 2009 conference for climate change skeptics.[2]
