Chlorine Chemistry Council
The Chlorine Chemistry Council is part of the chemical industry trade association American Chemistry Council. The group represents the manufacturers and users of chlorine and chlorine-related products. Its former website, http://www.c3.org, redirects to the American Chemistry Council's page on "Chlorine Chemistry." That page states, "The Chlorine Chemistry Division of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) represents major producers and users of chlorine in North America."[1]
The Chlorine Chemistry pages of the ACC promote using only chlorine to sanitize swimming pools and urges people to refrain from peeing in swimming pools.[2]
