Alexander P. Gage is the founder and President of TargetPoint Consulting, Inc. (TPC) based in Alexandria, Virginia. [1]

According to his TPC profile, Gage founded TargetPoint Consulting, Inc. in 2003 and created political microtargeting, "which ushered in a new era in consumer/voter targeting. TPC provided advanced voter targeting for Bush-Cheney '04, which fueled superior direct voter contact programs in 18 swing states. Today, TPC is the leading provider of microtargeting to political and corporate clients.

"Gage began his professional career in 1974 as an analyst at Market Opinion Research (MOR) in the political research group. MOR provided research service to hundreds of republican candidates, officeholders and party organizations from 1972 to 1988. MOR was the lead research firm for President Gerald Ford ('76) and Vice President George H.W. Bush ('88) and one of the primary research providers to President Ronald Reagan ('80 and '84).

"In 1989, Gage and other senior MOR managers found Market Strategies, Inc. (MSI). As one of the six principals of MSI from 1989 to 2003, Gage managed the Politics & Public Policy group. During his tenure at MSI, the company became the 19th largest research company in the U.S. with annual sales of $40 million. MSI was the lead research firm for President George H.W. Bush ('92) and one of the primary research providers to George W. Bush ('00)."
