Challengers in California's Tenth Congressional District (CD-10) Special Election Primary (September 1, 2009), to fill seat vacated by Rep Ellen Tauscher. If no candidate wins 50%+1 of the open ballot (mail-in only), the top vote winners from Repubolican and Democratic parties face off in November 3, 2009 Special Election to complete term. The seat would again be contested in 2010 election cycle.
